dc.description.abstract | Hypertrichosis is more than normal and excessive hair growth according to individual's age and sex. in hypertrichosis, hair growth is not androgen dependent and does not include male type hair growth. Hypertrichosis differentiates from hirsutism with this feature. in this review, childhood hypertrichosis will be examined under two main headings as generalized hypertrichosis and localized hypertrichosis.
