Dear Editor,
Multidrug resistance of Pseudomonas aeruginosa has been attributed to both intrinsic and acquired antibiotic-resistance mechanisms. Multidrug-resistant (MDR) P. aeruginosa isolates have become a serious healthcare problem worldwide because they are resistant to almost all β-lactams, aminoglycosides, and quinolones.
