Nowadays, the growing energy needs and the decreasing fossil fuels have made inevitable the use of new and renewable energy. The high cost of the renewable energy sources led to the need to develop more efficient and cheaper technologies. In this study, a power electronic buck converter which is supplied by photo voltaic and electrical energy stored batteries is designed for low voltage and high current to electrolysis. In addition to this, by adding a mechanism that separates the hydrogen and oxygen to the electrolysis circuit has made it more efficient and more economical. The experimental results were evaluated for the developed system, the system focuses on how much hydrogen gas can be reproduced and also the efficiency, practicality, reliability and comparison with other energy sources has been made.
