This study aims to determine the morphologic, ecologic and taxonomic characteristics of Amygdalus L. species from Rosaceae L. family. The specimens from the GAP region were collected between the years 2004-2006, photographed, and their areas were determined. The Flora of Turkey and The East Aegean Island was used to identify the plant samples. Amygdalus orientalis Miller, A. arabica Oliv. A. lycioides Spach var. lycioides and A.communis L. taxa were determined and their morphologic, ecologic and taxonomic characteristics were explained. Two of them were new records for Sanliurfa.
