Türkiye'nin Orta Karadeniz Bölgesinde ova alanların çayır vejetasyonu Braun-Blanquet metodu veTWINSPAN kümeleme, CCA ve DECORANA ordinasyon yöntemleriyle analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmaalanında üç yeni bitki birliği tanımlanmıştır. Bu birliklerde en bol ve sıklıkla bulunan hayat formuhemikriptofitlerdir. Birliklerin Shannon çeşitlilik indeksi ve evenness değerleri de hesaplanmıştır.Tanımlanan bitki birliklerinin sintaksonomik durumları aşağıda hiyerarşik olarak verilmiştir: Molinio-Arrhenatheretea Tüxen 1937Holoschoenetalia vulgaris Br.-Bl. ex Tchou 1948Gaudinio-Hordeion bulbosi Galan, Deil, Haug and Vicente 1997Alopecuro pratensis-Juncetum littoralis Yalçın et al. 2013 ass. novaPlantaginetalia majoris Tüxen 1950Trifolio fragiferi-Cynodontion Br.-Bl. and O. Bolòs 1958Polypogono monspeliensis-Hordetum geniculati Yalçın et al. 2013 ass. novaRanunculo ophioglossifolii-Paspaletum distichi Yalçın et al. 2013 ass. nova. The vegetation of the lowland meadows in the central Black Sea region of Turkey was analyzed accordingto the Braun-Blanquet method with the help of TWINSPAN clustering, CCA, and DECORANAordination methods. Three plant associations were discovered and described in the study area as new. Themost abundant and frequent life form in the associations is hemicryptophytes. The Shannon DiversityIndex and Evenness was also used for calculations of the associations.
