9-12 yaş çocukların estetik değer algılarının i̇ncelenmesi

Abstract

Araştırmanın amacı, 9-12 yaş çocukların estetik değer algılarının incelenmesidir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu Karadeniz Bölgesinde öğrenim gören, 9-12 yaş aralığındaki toplam 1021 (534 kız; 487 erkek) öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma karma yöntem araştırma desenlerinden yakınsayan paralel desen yaklaşımıyla yürütülmüştür. Araştırmanın nicel boyutunda Mazman Budak (2012) tarafından geliştirilen sanat ve estetik değer tutum ölçeği; nitel boyutunda metafor yoluyla veri toplama formu kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonuçları kız çocukların erkek çocuklara göre sanat ve estetik değer tutum puanlarının daha olumlu olduğunu ve yaş düzeyi ilerledikçe kişinin estetik değer kavramına ilişkin bakış açısı, yaşam düzeyi ve güzel kavramını algılama eğiliminin farklılaştığını göstermiştir. Ayrıca çocukların estetik kavramını genel olarak cerrahi bir müdahale, fiziksel görünüm ya da esneklik olarak algıladıklarını; sanatsal anlamda kişiye zevk ya da heyecan veren bir duygu olarak da estetik haz kavramı üzerine yoğunlaştıklarını göstermiştir.

The aim of the research is to examine the aesthetic value perceptions of children aged 9-12 years. The study was conducted with a total of 1021 (534 female, 487 male) students in the Black Sea Region, aged 9-12 years. The research was conducted with convergent parallel design from mixed method research designs. The art and aesthetic value attitude scale developed by Mazman Budak (2012) and metaphor data collection form was used as means of collecting data. The results of the research showed that female students' attitudes towards art and aesthetics were more positive than male students' attitudes, and as the age progressed, the point of view of the person regarding the concept of aesthetic value is different. The children generally perceived the concept of aesthetics as a surgical intervention, physical appearance, or flexibility. They have concentrated on the concept of aesthetic pleasure as a feeling of pleasure or excitement.
