Karma Yaklaşıma Dayalı Bilgisayar Destekli Etkinliklerin İlkokul 4. Sınıf Öğrencilerinin Hoşgörü Değerine Yönelik Tutumlarına Etkisi

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı, ilkokul 4. sınıf sosyal bilgiler dersinde hoşgörü değerinin karma yaklaşıma dayalı bilgisayar destekli etkinliklerle öğretiminin öğrencilerin tutumlarına etkisini belirlemektir. Tarama modelinin kullanıldığı betimsel bir çalışma olan bu araştırmaya, 20132014 eğitim öğretim döneminde Rize ilinde bir ilkokulda öğrenim gören 23’ü deney, 22’si kontrol grubu olmak üzere toplam 45 ilkokul dördüncü sınıf öğrencisi katılmıştır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak “Hoşgörü Tutum Ölçeği” ve “Kişisel Bilgi Formu” kullanılmıştır. Veri analizinde aritmetik ortalama, standart sapma, bağımsız t testi ve tek yönlü ANOVA testi kullanılan araştırma sonucunda ölçeğin alt boyutlarında ve genelinde deney grubu lehine anlamlı farklılıklar belirlenmiştir Bununla beraber kontrol grubu öğrencilerinin puanlarında anlamlı bir farklılık elde edilmemiştir.

The aim of this research is to determine the effect of teaching the value of tolerance through computer-assisted activities based on mixed approach in the 4th grade social studies class on the students’ attitudes. A total of 45 fourth grade students studying at an elementary school in Rize in the 2013-2014 academic year participated in this research which is a descriptive study in which the screening model was used. The experiment group consists of 23 students and the control group consists of 22 students. "Tolerance Attitude Scale" and "Personal Information Form" were used as data collection tools in the research. Arithmetic mean, standard deviation, independent t test and one-way ANOVA test were used to analyze the data. According to the research results, significant differences were determined in the overall scale and subscales. However, any significant differences were not found in the scores of the control group students.
