Kitab-I Diyarbekriyye'de bayındırlı başbuğu Kara Yülük Osman Bey

Abstract

Oğuzların önemli boylarından birisi de Bayındırlılardır. Akkoyunlu Devleti'ni kuran aile, bu boya mensuptur. Akkoyunlu Devleti, İlhanlıların yıkılmasından sonra Doğu ve Güneydoğu Anadolu'da oluşan siyasi boşluğu dolduran önemli bir devlettir. Bu devlet, Kara Yülük Osman Bey zamanında Doğu ve Güneydoğu Anadolu Bölgesi'ndeki Türkmen boylarını kurduğu federasyon etrafında toplayarak önemli bir konuma yükseldi. Osman Bey, Timur'un Anadolu'ya yaptığı seferlerde müttefik olarak Anadolu'nun kaderinde söz sahibi oldu. Osman Bey, kendisi gibi Oğuzlara dayanan Karakoyunlu ve Kadı Burhaneddin Devletleriyle siyasi mücadelelerde bulundu.

Bayandur is one of the important tribes of the Oghuz Turks. The family which founded the Akkoyunlu State descended from this tribe. The Akkoyunlu State played a significant role in filling the political gap that occurred in the East and Southeast Anatolia following the collapse of the Ilkhanids. During the reign of Kara Yuluk Osman Bey, this state rose to a high position by gathering the Turkoman clans in the East and Southeast Anatolia under the roof of his federation. During Timur's raids to Anatolia, Osman Bey allied with him and became one of the determinants for the fate of Anatolia. He had political conflicts with Karakoyunlu and Kadi Burhan-ud-din states that were also descendants of the Oghuzs.
