Eğitim fakültesi öğrencilerinin kullandıkları hitapların toplumdilbilim açısından i̇ncelenmesi

Abstract

Toplumsal özelliklerin dile yansıması neticesinde ortaya çıkan farklı dil kullanımları toplumdilbilimin inceleme alanına girmektedir. Günümüzde özellikle teknolojinin getirdiği değişim ve başkalaşmayla birlikte bireylerin günlük yaşamlarında kullandıkları hitap sözcüklerinin de değiştiği gözlenmektedir. Bu çalışmada Eğitim Fakültesi öğrencilerinin günlük yaşamda kullandıkları hitap sözcüklerinin toplumdilbilim açısından değerlendirilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Betimsel bir nitelik taşıyan araştırmada veriler, açık uçlu tek sorudan oluşan bir form aracılığıyla toplanmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi Sınıf, Türkçe, Fen Bilgisi, Sosyal Bilgiler ve Matematik Öğretmenliği bölümlerinin birinci ve dördüncü sınıflarında öğrenim gören 576 öğretmen adayı oluşturmaktadır. Elde edilen veriler cinsiyet, bölüm ve sınıf değişkenlerine göre incelenmiş; betimsel analiz türlerinden yüzde ve frekans analiziyle çözümlenmiştir. Araştırmanın bulgularına göre öğrencilerin günlük konuşmalarında sevgi, iltifat, nezaket, argo, küfür ve hakaret içeren hitap ifadeleri kullandıkları tespit edilmiştir. Katılımcıların çoğunluğunun canım, kanka, dostum ve kardeşim hitaplarını kullandıkları; bununla birlikte hitapların cinsiyet, bölüm ve sınıf değişkenine göre farklılaştığı da tespit edilmiştir.

The description and evaluation of different language uses emerging as a result of reflection of social characteristics are in the field of sociolinguistics. Today, it is observed that the addressing words used by the individuals in their everyday lives change with the alteration and differentiation brought about by the technology. In this study, it is aimed to evaluate such words used in daily life by the students of the Faculty of Education in terms of sociolinguistics. In a descriptive study, data were collected through a form consisting of an open-ended question. The study was conducted with 576 prospective teachers who study in the first and fourth grades classroom of Turkish, Science, Social Studies and Mathematics Teaching Departments at the Faculty of Education of Recep Tayyip Erdoğan University. The data obtained were analyzed in terms of gender, department, and grade variables and demonstrated by percentage and frequency analysis of descriptive analysis types. According to the findings of the research, it has been determined that the students use the expressions of love, compliment, kindness, slang, profanity and insults in their daily conversations. The majority of the participants used the addressing of my dear, buddy, friend and brother. It was also found that the addressing words varied according to gender, department and grade variables.
