Abstract

A hospital management system (HMS) is an automation system that aids in the administration of health data and the proper execution of the tasks of healthcare professionals. Hospitals need to identify methods to save costs, boost productivity, and, lastly, deliver better services to patients. This is where robotic healthcare automation will assist firms, since it allows them to remotely monitor the state of customers by looking out for appointments, discover inventory systems, and check accounts when the patient departed and most vital data management, and much more. In healthcare, robotic process automation improves operational effectiveness, lowers costs, and decreases human error. This chapter provides a summary of all the advantages of adapting robotic process automation (RPA), which supports some major pillars of HMS such as appointment management, inventory management, data administration, and account management, which are all important components of the HMS.
